White & blue riverside lilies
At a fund raising open air Opera at a local convent our party was situated on a blanket next to a small stream, and I became fascinated with the way the grass met with the water, and later set about depicting this stream with the addition of water lilies, alowing me to exercise my fascination with reflections on water .
Variation on yellow water lilies.

Fallen leaf
Experimenting with light effects and bright colour is evident in this work, a medium I describe as “fusion illusion”, that is, careful fusing of colour masses to give an illusion of intense detail, although not much detail is present. The maple leaf was added to give the work an informal element. as well as depth.
